Many thanks to everyone who came along today to celebrate the life of a club legend.

On a beautiful sunny (very unNevill like) day, it was great to see so many old faces, vice-presidents, current players, boys & girls colts and colts parents join us for a full day of activity.

In the morning our Under 11 Boys beat St Peters to reach the Final of the South Area Young Cricketers. Congratulations to Pete Underwood and the boys.

In the afternoon there was an inter-club match with boys and girls from the Under 11's, 12's & 13's. Many thanks to Emma Bennett for organising.

On the main square the T20 between a Dick Roberts ex-colts XI, featuring many that now live in other parts of the country and a Presidents XI, featuring many ex-players making their only cricketing appearance of the season, produced some great performances with both bat & ball. The Dick Roberts XI came out on top but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and there were no injuries, unlike previous years !

Thanks to JP & Chris Pearson for soring out the teams, Pete Underwood for running the BBQ and JP & Bluey for sorting the raffle, where all proceeds go towards running the Colts section that Dick worked so hard to develop over many years.

We hope everyone had a good time and took some time during the day to remember the great man.
