The Nevill Sports Ground has been voted Most Improved Ground by the Sussex Cricket League, after we finished the season in 4th Place based on Pitch Marks from all of the Panel Umpires. This is our highest finish ever and a massive credit to the hard work that Andy & Daniel put in throughout the year and especially pre-match days. The Nevill Squares, outfields & perimeters, including what was an overgrown tree line, have never looked better and receive many compliments from visiting teams, umpires and local residents & dog walkers.

Following our decision to take over 'ALL' activity on the Nevill a few years back (from the Council), our Grounds team have prepared and maintained all football pitches and have managed their bookings during the Winter. This has resulted in much improved football pitches together with our cricket outfields being in a better condition come the Summer.

This work during the Winter has been recognised by being awarded Sussex FA Grounds Team of the Year. This prestigious award has been widely acclaimed by the regular users of the Nevill, including Hove Park Colts, Brighton & Hove District Schools FA & The View.

Over the past few years, our club has invested heavily in our ground and the equipment used to maintain it and its fantastic that this investment, and the amazing hard work of Andy & Daniel, has been recognised.
