Brighton & Hove Cricket Club are pleased to be offering for the first time a summer cricket camp for children aged 7 – 13. As one of the oldest and largest amateur Clubs in Sussex we are very proud of our heritage and we are fortunate to have a long history with playing cricket at all levels.

Our Club ethos promotes a love of cricket amongst all of our players and offers training programmes to suit all ages and levels. For those who are interested in playing at a competitive level we participate in leagues and festivals.

We are an inclusive Club, understanding the positive impact that sport in general can have on a child’s development and the enjoyment that brings whether developing new skills, enjoying training with their friends or taking cricket to the next level and taking part in competitions. We instil in our players a lifelong love of cricket and many go on to play at a senior level whether competitively or recreationally.

We know the season is short and for many parents they dread the end with the cries of ‘how long until the next season’! Our camp helps to eek out the season a bit longer for those keen youngers and will offer them a safe but above all fun environment in which to develop their game and learn from our excellent coaching team.

We hope to welcome you in August to our first cricket camp.

Course: The course is open to boys and girls of 7-13 years of age. During the week we will cover all aspects of cricket including batting, bowling and fielding skills with games, matches and competitions to add to all the fun.

Hard balls and softballs will be used meaning every child has the opportunity to succeed throughout the week. The children will be encouraged to try new skills within the game and develop themselves as cricketers. Enthusiasm is the key to a very happy and productive week!

Facilities: All our facilities will be available, including the large Sports Hall at Blatchington Mill School in the event of bad weather or even better if it’s to hot to be outside! The newly refurbished Club House will be open for the duration of the course and it will be possible to buy soft drinks, tea and coffee and ice creams. Orange squash and water will be provided free of charge for the children but please ensure your child has a NAMED water bottle that can be refilled when needed.

Price: £160 for 1 Child: £220.00 for 2 Children (Siblings): 5 Days – Includes Sports water bottle and baseball cap.
Includes £50 non-returnable deposit for each child booked on the course. Payment due by end of July.
