Brighton and Hove Under 12s

Winning the toss and choosing for once to bat first, we started strongly with a stand of 44 between Felix and Kyle. After they went Finley added a quick 27 and Jacob scored freely to retire on 25. We finished on 134 for 5 after 18 overs, our largest total of the season, scoring at almost 10 runs per over for the second half of the innings.
Burgess Hill made a good start with 9 off the first over, but the bowling tightened up and after losing 3 wickets in 5 balls (2 in a double wicket maiden from Alfie) we were on top. Some great catching from James and Joel and wickets for 8 different bowlers carried us to a 91 run win in 13.3 overs.
