I might as well copy and paste some of the other reports, as we batted first for the sixth time in a row, and Felix and Kyle made a good start again. Felix retired on 25, and we were 66 for 0 after 11 overs. Kyle and Alfie reached double figures before departing in the 12th over. Brad was unluckily run out and Charlie and Matt didn't last long. But that was it in terms of wickets lost, with Dorian adding a valuable 7 as Finley got his eye in to retire and James came in to smash the last ball for a one bounce 4. With 23 off the last over, our score of 129 didn't tell the full story, but we had a decent total to defend.
After 7 balls St James' were 1 for 2, with Kyle and Matthew striking early.
Brad, Max and Dorian also struck as the batsmen were generally kept quiet apart from the occasional boundary and mounting extras. Alfie bowled some lesser-spotted spin to take a couple of wickets, and St James' finished on 70 for 7.
